I often get music to my emailaccount, some of it i don´t like, some of it i do like and now i found out that there is even music that i have to make a blogpost out of just because its just to odd and strange. I really love people that just don´t follows the standard musical frames, like Jimmy Juliano And The Fluorescents, im guessing the man behind it is some kind of genius  because you have to have brains to make this kind of music (if it´s even called music), i even got a album sent to me THANKS!!

Brightblack Morning Light

Someone once described Kate Bush the most stoned woman in Britain; Brightblack Morning Light might earn the sobriquet of most stoned band in New Mexico.  They are just about rooted in their once native Alabama and early 70s blues-loving rock but their sound is actually over-stoned; so thick and immersive you could almost rock-crit to the max and announce “heroin folk”. 

Naybob Shineywater Pens mystic lyrics about rainbows, hologram buffaloes and living in a little tent down by the river — and he’s got the hippie bona fides to back it up. With his partner, Rachael Hughes, Shineywater lives in a solar-powered home in New Mexico, where the pair typically craft psych-rock blues albums under the name Brightblack Morning Light.

Boozoo Bajou

Behind the name Boozoo Bajou we find the two producers Florian Seyberth and Peter Heider from Nürnberg Germany, widely respected around the globe for their unique blend of modern electronica with blues, jazz, soul, latin and dub elements. But on the latest album released early this month called “Grains”, the duo take a lighter and brighter path, absorbing acoustic folk and classic songwriting into their progressive musical journey.

Boozoo Bajou is signed to one of my all time favorite labels !K7 Records, the name is an abbreviation of the company’s original Berlin address, Kaiserdamm 7 (they have since relocated to Heidestr. 52).

Langhorns

Langhorns started playing in the summer of 1995 as a result of the band members irresistible urge to do at least something right with their lives. Langhorns is all about instrumental surf country cowboy rock  a la The Ventures but better, lots better. The gun smoke is thick and you can almost see the mysterious speechless cowboys in the horizon or longhaired blonde surfers surfing endless waves in the sunset when you hear this music. To all this the music is a hilarious mix of minimalistic blues-rock, jazz, psychedelia, R&B, flamenco, Latin-rock, Mexican mariachis and the seductive tunes of the Orient.

The tree guys who makes this band comes from the city of Lund in Sweden far away from beaches and crazy surfers has released 3 albums on the swedish label Bad Taste Record, the last album in 2003.
